OPEN HOUSES

Sep 18: 2-4p w/Potluck @6 PM.

We are delighted you would like to come visit us during an open house.  You can expect to get a tour of the neighborhood, see homes that are ready for move-in and our Common House.  You will meet other neighbors as they go about their life in the neighborhood.  If there is time, there may be a walk along the brook, in the fields and the woods.  Please bring good walking shoes and ones that are easy to take on and off or use the shoe covers we can provide you with, to protect our natural wood floors.  Driving directions are here

Oct 2: 10-1p NESEA Green Tour

As part of the Northeast Sustainability Association Green Building Tour, we will be open from 10-1pm on Saturday October 1st.  This is a fantastic tour of energy efficient, renewable and sustainable properties throughout the northeast.  We will offer information about our solar panel installations, energy efficient homes and wood pellet boiler system.   More information on visiting us here. More information about NESEA here.

   Oct 15: 12:30-3:00p Octoberfest

Are you considering joining Nubanusit Neighborhood & Farm?  Please join us on Saturday, October 15 from 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. for a celebration of the harvest season. We'll meet in the Common House and lawns, weather-permitting. CSA members will be bringing a dish of something prepared from our CSA - feel free to bring something from your own garden and an appetite. (Last year's harvest lunch may have been the most delicious meal that I ate all last year - which is saying something around here.) Salads, desserts, prepared foods, etc. all encouraged.

Other attractions:
Taste local home brew (a maple porter is fermenting at this moment) Press and drink apple cider Sample homemade brotwurst. Offer our farmer a farewell for the season (He will be finishing up his work for the season and heading out shortly after this celebration.) Learn a bit about plans for next season. Driving directions are here.  Tour our energy efficient homes that are move-in ready.
